A musical fidget slider answers two rival shop doorbells with notes until they become one tune. This is an echoPi video. echoPi is an EDC fidget slider and pocketable instrument: its clicks are real physical stops you can set up in the app, and every click can play a note. Two doorbells, one tune
Two rival shops share a street: the left door goes ding-dong, the right door has a brass bell. Pi sits on the bench between them and answers every ring with a note, until the two bells turn into one tune. The shopkeepers start ringing their own doors to win customers, faster and faster. Then both dash for the last passer-by, bump noses on the curb, and both doors slam shut behind them. A street lamp flickers on. By night, both bells hang on the same door.
Music: Grieg, In the Hall of the Mountain King (1875); Wagner, Bridal Chorus (1850). Public domain, own arrangements.
