Life of Pi Ep.24: She kept tripping on the rope, so her friend gave her a beat
A musical fidget toy gives a jump rope a beat: two slow notes, and she clears the rope. This is an echoPi video. echoPi is an EDC fidget slider and pocketable instrument: its clicks are real physical stops you can set up in the app, and every click can play a note. Turn the sound off and it becomes a quiet fidget for the office. echoPi is in development.

She keeps landing on her own jump rope.
Mila jumps too late, every time. On the bench, Nia pushes two slow notes on her slider, and Mila clears the rope. Feeling clever, Nia plays it faster. Thwap. "Slower." Back on the slow beat, Mila jumps again and again, steadier with every note. "Easy," says Nia, and holds out her hand for the rope. First jump: thwap. Mila raises an eyebrow and plays her the two slow notes.
