Life of Pi Ep.28: One lane open, so he played the checkout beeps
No music skills needed: the scanner beeps a G, and one push per note fills in Twinkle Twinkle. This is an echoPi video. echoPi is an EDC fidget slider and pocketable instrument: its clicks are real physical stops you can set up in the app, and every click can play a note. Turn the sound off and it becomes a quiet fidget for the office. echoPi is in development.

One lane open. Every scanner beep is the same note.
Stuck first in a long queue, Dev hears it: the scanner's beep is a G. So he fills in the gaps on his slider, one piano note per push, and the beeps finish the line of Twinkle Twinkle. The printer jams halfway through the second line. Then the last item is a pineapple that won't scan, and the cashier's Enter beep lands the final note right on the beat. The queue cheers. She has no idea.
Music: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (traditional, public domain).
