One sour note, every time
An ice cream truck plays The Entertainer, and every pass of the tune, one note goes sour. Pi waits for it, slides one stop, and plays the right note on top. The kids stop covering their ears. The dog stops barking. Then the driver smacks the old music box and it dies for good. He looks at Pi and hands over the mic, and the truck finally plays the tune right as it drives away.
Music: Scott Joplin, The Entertainer (1902, public domain).
