Life of Pi Ep.32: A car alarm at 2 AM. So Pi plays drums over it.
A fidget slider with sound turns a 2 AM car alarm into a block party: every push lands on a drum. This is an echoPi video. echoPi is an EDC fidget slider and pocketable instrument: its clicks are real physical stops you can set up in the app, and every click can play a note. Turn the sound off and it becomes a quiet fidget for the office. echoPi is in development.

2 AM. A cat sets off a car alarm.
Every push of the slider lands on a drum, right between the alarm tones. The windows across the street start nodding, then a dog howls along, and the whole block turns into a dance floor. Then the owner runs out in his slippers and shuts it off. The windows give him a thumbs down while Pi plays a sad kazoo. He looks at the remote, shrugs, and turns it back on. The party resumes.
