Life of Pi Ep.55: The radiator kept banging. The cat never woke up.
A musical fidget slider turns an old radiator's clanks into the beat of a lullaby for a sleeping cat. This is an echoPi video. echoPi is an EDC fidget slider and pocketable instrument: its clicks are real physical stops you can set up in the app, and every click can play a note. Turn the sound off and it becomes a quiet fidget for the office. echoPi is in development.

Every clank is a downbeat
An old radiator clanks under a sleeping cat. Pi turns every clank into the first beat of a lullaby, and the bangs get softer and softer. Then the boiler sends a whole run of clanks down the pipes. Pi catches every one. The radiator settles, Pi nods off, and the biggest clang of the night goes off. The cat just smacks its lips. Pi tiptoes away, and the tail lands on his shoulder.
Music: Brahms, Lullaby, Op. 49 No. 4 (1868, public domain), own arrangement.
