Life of Pi Ep.25: Day one on the treadmill. His feet had zero rhythm.

Published · 26s

A fidget slider with sound gives a new runner a beat, and the whole treadmill row falls in step. This is an echoPi video. echoPi is an EDC fidget slider and pocketable instrument: its clicks are real physical stops you can set up in the app, and every click can play a note. Turn the sound off and it becomes a quiet fidget for the office. echoPi is in development.

Day one on the treadmill. Zero rhythm.

The new guy on the middle treadmill keeps tripping over his own feet. The runner next to him nudges the slider on his tray: two kick drums, a beat to step on. The new guy locks in, a little piano run goes up, and the whole row starts running as one, faster and faster. Then the coach slaps the big pause button. Everyone stops. Almost everyone: the new guy keeps running on the stopped belt with his eyes shut.
