Life of Pi Ep.49: Pi played a lullaby for him. The mosquito fell asleep instead.
A musical fidget slider steers a buzzing mosquito note by note, then plays a lullaby that puts the mosquito to sleep. This is an echoPi video. echoPi is an EDC fidget slider and pocketable instrument: its clicks are real physical stops you can set up in the app, and every click can play a note. Turn the sound off and it becomes a quiet fidget for the office. echoPi is in development.

Note by note, always half a beat late
A mosquito buzzes at his ear all night. Pi steers it note by note, and he slaps after it, always half a beat late. Then Pi tries a lullaby to put him to sleep. The buzzing slows down, the mosquito curls up on the lamp, and he is wide awake.
Music: Rimsky-Korsakov, Flight of the Bumblebee (1900, public domain) and Brahms, Lullaby Op. 49 No. 4 (1868, public domain), own arrangement.
