AI

Meet Pi.

The AI in the echoPi app. Tell it how you want it to feel or sound, and it sets up your clicks.

Just three clicks. I need room to think.

Pi

Say less. Three clicks with big quiet stretches in between. Slide, breathe, click.

set clicks sound piano

Something like rain on a tin roof.

Pi

Every other click is a raindrop now. Close your eyes and it's basically weather.

set clicks sound rain

Can it play something classy?

Pi

How about Bach? Each click is the next note of the Prelude in C. You slide, I'll handle the counterpoint.

set clicks sound piano play Bach · Prelude in C

Help me wind down before bed.

Pi

Lights low. Three soft guitar notes in the middle, nothing at the edges. No rush, no rhythm, just drift.

set clicks sound guitar

I fidget a lot on calls. Make it satisfying.

Pi

Then the ends are your reward: little beads in the middle and a soft gong every time you hit a wall. Go on, bounce.

set clicks sound just the click

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is echoPi?

echoPi is an EDC fidget slider with real clicks you can tune. You choose how many clicks there are and where they sit along the slide, and each click can play a note. It's currently in development.

How is it different from other fidget sliders?

Most fidget sliders have fixed detents, so the feel you buy is the feel you get forever. On echoPi the clicks are programmable: switch between saved setups, or make your own.

Are the clicks real or just vibration?

Real. The clicks you feel are physical stops under your thumb, not a vibration motor imitating them. A small tap of vibration is added on top of the sound. (Design target while in development.)

Do I need a phone to use it?

No. echoPi works on its own. The echoPi app, with Pi, our AI, is where you create and save new setups; sharing with friends is coming soon.

What does Pi, the AI, do?

Describe a feel in your own words, like "three clicks, room to think" or "rain on a tin roof," and Pi suggests a setup of clicks and sounds you can try right away.

When can I get one, and how much will it cost?

echoPi is in development and pricing isn't set yet. Join the launch list for development updates, and we'll email you when pre-orders open.

Who is echoPi for?

People who carry EDC gear and like something satisfying in their hand, ages 14 and up.
